About me and my Business.
Welcome to Elsie-Lyla Memorial Jewellery, lovingly run by me, Jo. From my small, peaceful studio in the heart of Lichfield city centre, I create handcrafted memorial jewellery designed to honour your loved ones and keep their memory close.
I began this deeply personal journey after the heartbreaking loss of my twin girls, Elsie and Lyla, in 2022. Creating memorial pieces in their honour helped me through my grief—and since then, I’ve had the privilege of making over 100 bespoke items for others, each one holding a special story. I’m so grateful to have received consistent 5-star reviews on Facebook from families I’ve worked with.
I offer appointments every Thursday and Saturday, where you can visit the studio to view the jewellery before placing an order. If you’d like to book, just get in touch—I’d love to welcome you.
You can also order online and choose free local collection from the shop by selecting “free shipping” at checkout. Otherwise, all online orders are sent via Royal Mail 24-hour tracked delivery for your peace of mind.
All my jewellery is crafted from high-quality sterling silver and gold, sourced from trusted local stockists.
- Sterling silver pieces are completed in approximately 4–6 weeks
- Gold pieces take around 12 weeks
Once your order is placed, I’ll send you a memorial pack containing everything you need, including a secure inclusion bag to safely send ashes, hair, or fur.

Here are some of the questions I’m often asked — I hope this helps, and as always, feel free to message me if you need anything at all 💖
✨ How do I get ashes, hair or fur to you?
Option 1: I can post out a memorial pack to you. This includes a sealed bag to safely add your inclusions (ashes, fur, or hair). Packs are usually sent out within 7 days of your order.
Option 2: You’re welcome to bring your inclusions directly to the shop. I’m more than happy to help with transferring ashes from urns – just ask, I’m here to support you.
💍 I don’t know my ring size – what should I do?
No worries! When ordering online, just select “Send me a ring measurement tool” under the ring size options. I’ll include this in your memorial pack so you can check your size at home.
You can also pop into the shop and I’ll measure your ring size for you.
🎨 What colours can I choose from?
I can work with almost any colour! I have a beautiful range of base colours to choose from, and we can make them lighter or darker depending on your preference.
You can also add glitter, opals, or silver/gold leaf to create something truly personal and unique.
⏳ How long does it take to complete a memorial piece?
• Standard orders: 2–6 weeks
• Pre-orders or gold pieces: 8–12 weeks

Due to the bespoke and personal nature of memorial jewellery, we do not accept returns. Each piece is custom-made with care and intended to be a lasting tribute.
However, if you experience any issues with your purchase, please contact us as soon as possible. We are committed to resolving any problems and will do our best to assist you.
Chain Warranty:
All chains are covered under a 6-month warranty from the date of purchase.
